"When I couldn't read I felt really stupid and worthless and would avoid any situation where I would be asked to read. This has really changed my life.
Give it a try - what have you got to lose?" Steve

"I give Read Easy 100/100." Nick

Read Easy is a new community organisation that recruits, trains and allocates volunteers to give one-to-one tuition to adults who struggle with reading, using a highly effective new manual called Yes we can read.

It's a free, friendly, flexible scheme, suitable for anyone who either can't read or who lacks confidence with reading.

Set up in Dorchester and Weymouth in 2010, Read Easy has already proved very successful in encouraging people to come forward for help and in giving them the vital support they need to move on in life.

Read Easy UK has now been established to enable people to set up new Read Easy groups in other areas. To find out more, please see our 'Start a new group' page.
